How to change the DNS


To change the DNS settings on your Windows 10 device using Control Panel, do the following:

  • Open Control Panel.
  • Click on Network and Internet.
  • Click on Network and Sharing Center.
  • On the left pane, click on Change adapter settings

  • Right-click the network interface connected to the internet, and select Properties.

  • Select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list
  • Click the properties button

  • Click the Use the following DNS server addresses option
  • Type your preferred and alternate DNS server addresses.

    • Primary DNS : 103.8.45.5
    • Secondary DNS: 103.8.46.5
  • Click ok
  • Access ZYXEL P-660 H ADSL Router with default IP address "192.168.1.1" in address bar and click enter give password as "1234" and click enter

  • Click on "Network"

  • Click WAN -> LAN -> DHCP

  • Type your preferred and alternate DNS server addresses and click "Apply"

    1. Primary DNS : 103.8.45.5
    2. Secondary DNS : 103.8.46.5
  • Login into D-link 2730 u ADSL router with default IP address "192.168.1.1"

    • Username is admin
    • Password is admin
  • Go to Advance and click on DNS

  • Specify the DNS server IP address highlighted box as below

  • Click "Apply"
