• BB 299, BB 399 and BB 895 are supplementary services over and above your voice service. They can only be activated on an active Tata DOCOMO mobile no.
• In the BB 299 plan internet access is restricted. In order to access internet services we request you to migrate to the BB 399 plan.
• The BB 895 plan is intended for use by Enterprise customers only.
• The monthly rental and corresponding discounts will be effective from the day of activation.
• The product is available to Tata DOCOMO postpay customers in select circles.
• Tariff is subject to change as per TRAI regulation.
• Service tax as applicable and any other applicable Government levies will be charged extra.
• BlackBerry data only tariff plans cannot be sold as standalone plans.
• If you are using any one of our partner networks while roaming nationally then your data usage through the BlackBerry Browser (which includes Instant Messaging, access to configured mails on the device and social networking through Facebook or MySpace icons on the Device ) is free on the BB 399, BB 299 and BB 895 BlackBerry Data Plans.. Only usage of the Dive-In Portal (WAP Portal) and Internet Browsing (either as a tethered modem or through any other browser other than the BlackBerry Browser) will be charged at the rate of 10 paise / 10 KB.
• While roaming if you are using the Tata DOCOMO network then your Data Usage is free on the BB 399, BB 299 & BB 895 BlackBerry Data Plans.

Q. What is Prepay BlackBerry?

A. BlackBerry Service, which was earlier restricted only to postpay customer, is now available for prepay customers also. Now enjoy the power of BlackBerry on Tata DOCOMO prepay also.

Q. What all services are available with Prepay BlackBerry? Can I go for BES or BES+BIS in Prepay?

A. In prepay BlackBerry we have BIS LITE & BIS services available. No, the BES and BES+BIS are currently not available with Prepay BlackBerry.

Q. What is BIS?

A. BlackBerry Internet Service/BIS is an integrated and secure wireless service for individuals and small businesses allowing them to access up to ten corporate and/or personal e-mail accounts from a single device. BlackBerry Internet service combines the e-mail, phone, SMS, browser, organizer, instant messenger plus more, in an all-in-one BlackBerry handheld.

With BIS, a Prepay Customer gets the following on his BlackBerry handheld, even while on National Roaming:

• Unlimited push e-mail
• As many as 10 personal e-mail accounts (Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, etc.)

• One BlackBerry email account is given free to the customer.

• Unlimited usage on Instant Messenger (IM)

• Google Talk, MSN Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ etc.
• BlackBerry Messenger.

• Unlimited usage on BlackBerry App World – Free application download & use
• Unlimited usage on Social Networking: Facebook, Myspace etc.
• Unlimited usage on Internet Browsing, including audio and video content

Q. What is MaiLite?

A. MaiLite is an integrated and secure wireless service for individuals and small businesses allowing them to access up to ten e-mail accounts from a single device. MaiLite service combines the e-mail, phone, SMS, organizer, instant messenger plus more, in an all-in-one BlackBerry handheld. Internet browsing is not allowed with MaiLite. Tata DOCOMO MaiLite is the customer-facing name of this service.

With MaiLite, a Prepay Customer gets the following on his BlackBerry handheld, including while on National Roaming.

Q. Is it possible to migrate from my prepay BlackBerry service to postpay service?

A. No, currently you cannot.

Q. Am I allowed to subscribe to other tariff / VAS packs at the same time?

A. Yes, you can subscribe to other tariff / VAS packs at the same time as per the currently applicable rules and process. Subscription to other packs etc. does not affect your BlackBerry services on Prepay.

Q. Which all packs are available with Prepay BlackBerry?

The charges mentioned above include both rental as well as unlimited usage of BlackBerry service.

Q. Is the special recharge voucher for BlackBerry available?

A. There is no special recharge voucher for BlackBerry, the charges will be deducted from main account balance after the BlackBerry service pack has been requested for, and later for renewal at the time of validity expiry of the pack. You are only required to maintain the required Balance at the time of validity expiry of BlackBerry service.

• Deactivation facility is not available in the case of daily plans as the service is automatically unsubscribed after expiry of 1 day validity.

How to migrate between BlackBerry services on Prepay

• To migrate from Plan X to Plan Y before the expiry of validity of Pack X, SMS SUB BB <Y> to 121
• E.g. in case Tata DOCOMO MaiLite (Rs.85) pack is already activated on your BlackBerry handset and within 7 days of this activation, you wish to move to BlackBerry Internet Service (Rs.100) pack, type SUB BB 100 and send the SMS to 121.
• Note: In case of migration from one pack to another, no refund or adjustment will be made. Rental applicable for destination plan will be deducted from the account balance.

Q. How will I get charged for the BlackBerry services?

A. The amount will be deducted on the monthly or weekly basis (as applicable) from your main account balance i.e. at the end of the validity period, the balance will be deducted and the service will be automatically renewed. You are required to maintain the required balance only at the time of activation and renewal.

Daily plans are deactivated after expiry of 1 day validity. Auto renewal is not applicable in the case of daily plans. Fresh activation request needs to be sent to subscribe again.

Q. Will I need to maintain some minimum balance during the validity also?

A. No, BlackBerry services, once activated, will work for the entire period of validity, even if the balance drops to Zero.

Q. How will I come to know that my BlackBerry renewal date is approaching?

A. In case of weekly and monthly plans, you will get SMS reminders before 72 hrs and 24 hrs of renewal date, requesting to maintain the required balance. No reminder will be sent in case of daily plans.

Q. What if I do not have the Required Balance at the time of activation or renewal?

A. BlackBerry service pack on your phone will be automatically deactivated. You may recharge your account and give a fresh request for the same.

Q. Which BlackBerry handset should I buy for getting BlackBerry services on Prepay?

A.  The BlackBerry services are available with all existing GSM BlackBerry handsets and also will be available on all forth coming BlackBerry handsets also.

Q. How can I get the BlackBerry Service Activated on my prepay connection?

Can we integrate personal as well as business mails together with BlackBerry® Internet Service?

A. Yes. You can integrate Hotmail®, Gmail^TM, Yahoo!® as well as your personal POP3/Internet Service Provider (ISP) e-mail accounts with BlackBerry® Internet Service. If your Business mail account is POP3/IMAP enabled or the outlook allows web access, then you can integrate your Business mails as well.

Where can we find the PIN for a BlackBerry® smartphone?
