- You can download application by sending sms to 53333 using text Smart Pilot. You will receive link for application downloading
- Once you click on link, you will be asked to install application
- If your device is not support for this application, you will be conveyed via appropriate message
Q. Do I need to pay for downloading the application?
A. No.
- There are no charges for downloading the application.
Q. What are the different ways to subscribe /un-subscribe the application?
A.
- Via SMS on short code 155223
- For un subscription
- Via IVR by Dialing 155223
- Via Mobile client Application
Q. Do I need to do any specific configuration on handset to run application after installation?
A.
- SmartPilot uses some of the mobile features like GPRS network for transferring data, finding location in case if the device has built-in GPS.
These features require explicit user permission in order to run Smart Pilot. You can give these permission either at the time when the permission prompt occurs while using the application or you can set it permanently inside application manager so that it won’t ask for permission again and again.
- Steps to set permission through app manager are as follows:
- Go to the App. Manager. The path for app manager is different in different mobile but commonly found inside Menu -> Applications / Installations -> App manager.
- Inside app manager find SmartPilot and click open. This will list all the available permission for Smart pilot which you can set.
- Click on Network access and change the permission to Always allowed.
- Repeat the same procedure for the Location permission.
Q. When I launch application, it always asks for Position and Network access? How can I prevent that?
Q. How much I need to pay for Smart Pilot?

- Smart Pilot subscription is Rs. 10 per day
- No DATA ACCESS CHARGES after subscription
Q. Smart Pilot subscription is per day basis. What does that imply? Is it for 24 hours from activation time or till mid night for same day?
A.
- Per day subscription is valid for 24 hours from the time of activation
Q. Will per day subscription automatically renewed? Do I need explicitly unsubscribe it? If yes, how?
A. No.
- It won't be renewed automatically. You don't need to explicitly unsubscribe it
My Navigation service is not working but I it was working before
- Smart Pilot uses GPS capability of phone and thus is sometimes dependent on some environmental factors for Navigation to work properly. GPS in the phone and thus Navigation in SmartPilot may not work in the following environment / circumstances.
- Cloudy Weather
- Inside/between tall obstacles such as buildings with visibility to sky is rare
- Outside the coverage of operator network
In case of above factors, the service temporarily may not work
Q. Will using Smart Pilot drain my battery?
A.
- As with all applications, Smart Pilot uses battery power to provide service.
- In order to optimize battery life we suggest using a car charger when navigating
Q. In Share Route feature, will I be charged for sharing route? If yes, then how much?
A. Yes.
- The equivalent SMS charges will be deducted from your account. Since this SMS is sent from your device as regular SMS, charges are applicable as per your SMS plan.
