Q. How do I access Local Search?
A. Available on following mode of access:
- SMS: SMS any query (ATM, BANK, HOSPITAL, SCHOOL, HOTEL) to 533330 to get response. Response will be received on SMS
- WAP: Customer can click on Local Search icon on 3G Life to subscribe and then search anything on WAP portal
- APP: Customer can send keyword 'Search' to toll free number 53333 and download the app. Post download and subscription; customer can search anything using this user friendly app
Q. What are the charges to use this service?
A. Customer can pay for each session as well as subscribe this service for 1 / 10 / 30 days to get value for money.
- Pay / Session - Rs.3/SMS (this mode is available only on SMS; Subscription is must for accessing WAP and APP)
- Rs.5 / 1 day
- Rs.10 / 10 days
- Rs.30 / 30 days
If subscribed from any mode, it will be applicable for all modes. Eg - If customer subscribe from SMS mode, customer can access the service on WAP / APP as per ease.
Q. Is there any auto renewals?
A. Yes, except day pass packs.
Q. Does customer get pre-renewal SMS informing upcoming renewal charges?
A. Yes, customer will receive pre-renewal SMS 48 hrs in advance.

- Once app is downloaded, customer can launch this service by clicking on it
- Subscription option / Search option on WAP will be similar to WAP

Q. Is there any handset dependency to use this service?
A. For SMS mode, there no handset dependency. WAP / APP can be used at WAP / JAVA phones.
Q. What if all the result options of a search don't come in one SMS?
A. There is a mechanism where customer will get an option to fetch more information by replying 'NEXT' to the search result. Result will instruct customer to do so.
Q. Do I get charged to fetch further result of search query?
A. Yes, in case of pay / session, customer will be charged each transaction. In case of subscription, all the transactions will be FREE till the subscription is alive.
Q. In case of unsuccessful result, do I still get charged for search?
A. No, that's the beauty of the product. Customer will only be charged for success response.
Q. What are other benefits of using WAP / APP mode of this product?

- Following actions can be done from APP / WAP
- Calls to the search contact can be originated directly from WAP / APP page by a single click.
- Contact details can be sent by SMS directly from WAP / APP using easy to use interface
- Search results can be posted directly on Social Network using WAP / APP interface
Q. I am trying to download the application but the link does not work, why?
A. Due to the heavy traffic in your network, sometimes you may not be able download the application. Please try downloading the application from a different location where the GPRS connection is good.
Q. The application downloads and I installed the app, but when I click on the Local Search link, it does not open, nothing happens?
A. Switch off your mobile and then try restarting again. If it still does not happen, re-install the application.
